As the Human Resources Director at Richey May, Kathy works closely with the firm’s Partner in Charge of Operations to plan, develop and implement the firm’s human resource objectives, policies and programs. She delivers broad-based HR support for our partners, managers and staff. Additionally, a key part of Kathy’s role is to assist with the recruiting and hiring of best-in-class individuals that fit Richey May’s overall recruiting strategy. Her excellent contributions to our firm’s culture helped Richey May to win recognition from Colorado Biz Magazine as a Best Company to Work For in 2014.


Kathy joined Richey May as an Administrative Assistant, supervising our due-date controls for client returns and managing the extension process. She started her career as an Administrative Assistant at Holben Hay & Husman, where her responsibilities included a reorganization of the firm’s accounts receivable system that resulted in a 30% decrease in delinquent accounts.


Outside of the office, Kathy enjoys traveling, especially to the relaxing beaches of Antigua and is busy planning her next adventure to Australia. When not spending time with friends and family, you can find Kathy attending a fitness class like kettlebell, which is currently her favorite form of exercise torture.
