Ryan joined Richey May in 2008 as a Tax Associate and is currently a Senior Tax Manager. His area of expertise includes real estate transactions including, but not limited to, like-kind exchanges, land development, residential home building, commercial real estate development and leasing, and real estate broker offices. In addition to his real estate activities, Ryan also does significant amount of tax returns for small and medium businesses, high net-worth individuals, medical practices, family partnerships and estate planning and trusts.
Ryan has delivered a multitude of presentations to the Denver business community and the surrounding communities related to entity structuring, tax updates, like-kind exchanges, home ownership and starting up a business. He enjoys educating others in all settings, whether large or small.
Prior to entering public accounting in 2005, Ryan spent over 15 years in the restaurant service industry, with the last 10 years dedicated to Morton’s The Steakhouse. He has done everything there is to do in the restaurant industry from washing dishes, serving tables, bartending, managing and wine captain.
Ryan currently lives in Centennial, Colorado with his wife and three children. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his children, golfing, gardening and bike riding.
